History

Equipped with industrial knowledge to advise our customers, Yadanar Taung Group originates from a distributing construction materials company. Because we are a family-owned business, we operate independently and we carry our family company’s knowledge of distribution and manufacturing in everything we do.

Founded in 2003 in Thongwa with the distribution of over 1,500 constructional items, Yadanar Taung Group has stood steadfast on its position over the years where we support customers with leadership positions such as maintenance, repair and operations (MRO). Eventually, we became a trusted source for our products. In 2009, we established a new branch called San Thit Kyaw in Nay Pyi Taw, to help customers to save money, reduce downtime, and operate more efficiently by selling and distributing over 3,000 construction materials. As we began to see a large increase in demand for our products, we established another branch, Win Myanmar, in 2011 distributing over 5,000 materials in Nay Pyi Taw in order to continue service improvement to support customer experience. We then started Yadanar Taung’s product offering and services in Yangon in 2014, distributing over 1,500 construction items to leverage better supply management solutions and faster response times to customer calls. Thanks to our loyal customers, we were able to expand another branch, San Thit Kyaw, Yangon, in 2015 and had an increase in product distribution with over 9,000 items with our support staff being among the most experienced in the industry providing helpful and accurate client support. To provide our loyal customers with a full service support team for all manufactured and distributed products, we established the Shwe Pyi Thar Factory in Yangon in 2016, manufacturing over 2,500 construction equipment. In the same year, Yadanar Taung introduced a new showroom in Nay Pyi Taw distributing over 3,000 quality merchandise. With continuous improvement and increase in hard work, diligence, knowledgeable and passionate staff and enthusiastic partners, we expanded a new San Thit Kyaw branch in Nay Pyi Taw in 2017 with over 15,000 distributing items. In 2018, with the hope to exceed customer expectations and support the working environment where everyone’s contribution to the group’s success, Yadanar Taung launched a new branch in South Dagon, Yangon with over 2,000 distribution of structural materials and 3,000 manufacturing products. We introduced the launch of a new showroom, Bawgathiri, in Nay Pyi Taw in 2020 with the aim to passionately serve our loyal customers distributing over 15,000 top-quality construction materials and providing solutions across the market. Our aim in the next five years is to achieve 55% of the market’s local domestic distribution whilst providing value added products and services, committing to safety in all of our units and becoming the leader in industrial distribution services for local customers in all 15 states and regions of Myanmar and soon, to penetrate the global market.
